Speak Truth to Power Canada was modelled after the original Speak Truth to Power, conceptualized by Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. When we undertook to develop a Canadian model identifying Canadian defenders for human rights, we also wanted our Canadian teachers to have access to global defenders identified by Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.
For each of our 12 lesson plans, we included an RFK Global Defender tab. Under this tab, you may find a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights lesson plan that has been reviewed to reflect our Canadian educational context. It is important to note that this is a work in progress.
